Bringing a little Wellbeing to BunkFest 2026

The brilliant BunkFest team have given me the opportunity to bring a micro-version of the Wallingford Wellbeing Festival to this year's BunkFest, and I couldn't be more excited.

The ambition is bold but simple: to provide 1,000 free wellbeing experiences for people of all ages across the festival weekend.

Together, we'll create a small but innovative, immersive and experiential wellbeing offering. Including a diverse programme of treatments, workshops, talks, demonstrations, classes and interactive experiences that support our eight interconnected pillars of wellbeing:

Physical Health • Mental & Emotional Wellbeing • Connection & Belonging • Work & Purpose • Financial Wellbeing • Spiritual Wellbeing • Nature & Environment • Creativity & Expression

We want this experience to be inclusive, accessible and welcoming to everyone. To make that happen, we need your help.

Here's how you can get involved:

  • Lead a talk / workshop / class / demo - could be anything from 20minutes to 60minutes. Micro talks can be great, but the guidance is that the more immersive the better - meaning if it can involve and practically engage the participant it is likely to have a stronger uptake.

  • Offer taster sessions - on a first come first served basis within a designated time slot. The events runs from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening, so i'd just need to know what the taster session involves, whether focused on one to one taster sessions, or whether small groups are viable. Just let Michelle know the times you could be available.

Note: No sessions can be paid for, as the event is about giving back to the community. However, programme participants are able to advertise themselves, offer exclusive at event offers (which you can take payments for) and sell future experiences, courses, and activities specific to you / your session at the event.

  • Volunteer - help facilitate, coordinate and guide. Again, the micro-wellbeing part of the event runs from Friday afternoon at 2pm to Sunday evening at 8pm, so i'd just need to know timings you could be available if volunteering is of interest. It is helpful from a coordination perspective if volunteers can give a minimum of 2hrs support....but we won't stop you if you want to help out all day!

  • Have a small table stall in our wellbeing market place - places are limited. Tables are £40 per session and sessions are as follows:
  • Session 1: Friday 4th September - 3pm to 7pm
  • Session 2: Saturday 5th September - 9am-1pm
  • Session 3: Saturday 5th September - 3pm - 7pm
  • Session 4: Sunday 6th September - 9am-1pm
  • Session 5: Sunday 6th September - 3pm - 7pm
  • *Stall holders must hold their own liability insurance

  • Or, maybe you’re in a position to help provide soft furnishings (blankets, cushions, yoga mats, futons, lighting, planting etc) and help create the ambience of our designated spaces for participants use. Or, provide helpful tools like portable microphone sets, silent disco headphones, treatment and scent based products or other helpful resources like signage, or refreshments and snacks for our teen zone . Please feel free to suggest based on what you could help with, or ask us for our up to date requirements list.

Note:  If you know anyone else who you think should see this - then please do share, or feel free to let me Michelle know directly.

There is still time

Whilst all of the activities will be delivered by generous volunteers, there are still essential costs involved in bringing the festival to life, including marquees, canopies, equipment, insurance, accessibility provisions, products, way finding materials and event infrastructure.

If you're able to support us financially, no matter how large or small the contribution, we would be incredibly grateful.
